Long ago, the talented witch Shien heped her apprentice Tama escape from the witch hunts and then disappeared. Hundreds of years later, the two finally reunite in modern-day Japan! However, there is no trace of Shien's former self. She is now a "downer witch" smoking cigarettes by the window...!
