It is about a young, prominent surgeon, who left a prestigious hospital in Tokyo and moved to an isolated island in the southern part of Japan. He works at a clinic there as the only doctor on the island. First the islanders didn't trust him but slowly he gains their respect.

Note: Won the 49th Shogakukan Manga Award in the General category in 2004.
